It's been a roller-coaster week for Rosberg, who saw his wedding celebrations happily intertwine with Germany's World Cup win before then penning a new contract with Mercedes, per The Independent.
And now, what's been a stellar period of German success could be made all the more significant should the 29-year-old be able to top the billing in Hockenheim and claim his fourth win of the season.
The Associated Press confirm Rodberg's good form at present, too, after he ended opening practice in the fastest time:
